Raytheon has an opening for a Production Control, Sr. Depot Planner at our Andover, MA facility. The successful candidate has experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizes data-driven decision making to enable effective material and workforce forecasting. This role requires daily interaction with cross functional teams, programs, and business units to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include planning, production control, operations, quality, and manufacturing/test/design engineering. The individual in this role will need to quickly develop credibility and influence, aligning the operations’ execution plan to meet critical customer deadlines with supply chain strategies and financial targets. You will foster a working environment that promotes safety, security, compliance, and quality while achieving overall customer requirements. You will actively establish, lead, and participate in continuous improvement projects within Raytheon. Responsibilities include presenting and driving metric-based improvements across the Value Stream, managing a team of Production Control Managers and Professionals, material availability analysis, tracking, and reporting, releasing production orders in MRP system and confirming in shop floor system, managing kit readiness with cross-functional teams, coordinating the kitting process, providing production floor support including replacement part management and WIP movement, controlling disposition of nonconforming or specially handled material, managing coordination and execution of program schedules with Global Supply Chain Management and other functional areas, supporting customer commitments, driving accountability across business teams, completing Estimate at Completion (EAC’s), maintaining shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems, and processing piece part movement to support internal build requirements. This position requires a university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years experience. Experience with ERP/MRP systems including SAP, supply chain, production/planning control, inventory management, and capacity planning is required. Preferred qualifications include experience with manufacturing tool sets, Foreign Military Sale (FMS) & Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contracts, cross-functional team support, Microsoft Office applications, and previous manufacturing process experience. The role is onsite at the Andover, MA facility and requires an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.
